A Kamloops Big Band Christmas 2018
Beyond Brass is privileged to play a few retirement communities here in the River City. First up is Berwick on the Park on November 27. Then on December 11 we will be a Kamloops Seniors Village on Hugh Allen Drive. Our final Big Band Christmas concert is at Chartwell Ridgepointe Retirement Residence in Pineview. Let us know ahead of time if you want to join us and the residents. We want to make sure there are enough chairs set out. Music starts at 7pm.
Rudolph, Santa Baby, Let it Snow, Silver Bells and a lot more are in the one hour set. The favourite piece this year is a Rich Woolworth arrangement of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. It has a cool Mambo rhythm with a hint of James Bond in the mix. Definitely worth a look if you a looking for new charts to play.
